OUR STORY

It all began with a simple act of obedience—a group of men from our church stepping in to install handrails for an elderly member in need. None of us were trained carpenters. We just saw an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus, so we showed up—and we made it happen.

That one project sparked a movement.

Our Mission

Word spread. More needs surfaced. More hearts wanted to help. What started as a one-time effort quickly grew into a network of skilled volunteers with a shared desire to serve. We discovered that within our circle were tradesmen, service professionals, and everyday believers ready to lend their time and talent to meaningful projects in our community.

And so, Make It Happen Missions was born.

Too often, Christians believe that if they’re not preaching, teaching, or baptizing, their work doesn’t count. But we stand on the truth of *1 Peter 4:10*—that we all have gifts to serve one another. Whether it’s building a ramp, feeding a family, or organizing a local mission, we equip people to serve in a way that feels natural and impactful.

After joining a mission trip to Missouri, we realized something: mission work doesn’t have to be far away. There are needs in our own backyards. So we created space for **people to help people**, right here at home. Men, women, youth—everyone has a role.

And to think, it all started with handrails.
